Motorcycle Accidents

Jim Ross is a motorcycle rider, and he understands that bikers have just as much right to be safe on the road as any other driver. An accident between a motorcyle and another type of vehicle can be devastating for the rider. They are virtually unprotected like someone riding in a car would be.

“He Came Out Of Nowhere”

This is an all-too common claim made by drivers after an accident with a motorcyle. The laws of physics refute this excuse and the laws of Texas do not accept this excuse.

It is far more likely for the accident to be caused when a driver is not paying attention to their surroundings. Not paying attention is negligence, and means the other driver may be responsible for the accident and your damages.

If you are in an accident and the other driver suggests “you came out of nowhere”, make a note of it and ask the responding officer to do the same.

“I love riding and will aggressively represent you as a fellow biker.”
